The Ataris, Sunday, July 25, Hodi’s, $10
For those who fell into the pop-punk scene of the early 2000s, get out your wristbands. The Ataris, like all good boys of summer, are returning to Colorado with new album The Graveyard of the Atlantic to promote and hearts to break. Frontman Kris Roe, who’s been with the band since it formed in Indiana in 1995, describes the album as “just very melodic, raw, catchy, upbeat, sing-along rock songs.” Be prepared to have all your high school dreams come true. On tour with Gasoline Heart and Don’t Panic, this show is guaranteed to be high energy and low maturity.
