Like hip-hop? Real hip-hop, not just the “crunk” that hits airwaves these days? Check out Observatory. Eric Camomile (a.k.a. Observe) and Ben Woodly-Rifen (Boonhamin) started this dynamic duo back in 2005, and their sounds have only improved. Hip-hop fans will nod heads in admiration of the flow of both of these seasoned rappers; their beats are solid, their lyrics are thoughtful, and talent practically seeps out of both of them. With a new album, Daylight Savings, recently released for free on Myspace and a growing following on the West Coast, these guys are moving up in the music world, so catch them while you can.
