Hi Rick,
My recommendation would depend a lot on the demographic you’re aiming at… if you’re looking to appeal to the 20 to 30 young professionals, I’d look at Post Paradise (postparadiserock.com) or Fierce Bad Rabbit as far as rock bands. SpokesBUZZ.org has some pretty good bands too (including FBR) – see their Facebook page at facebook.com/spokesbuzz.
Give me a little more info about your demographic target and the kind of bands you’re looking for and I can give you more specific suggestions.
Be sure and send info on the event to us and we’ll publicize it!
Thanks for asking!

Anny,
We hear you’re the one to contact for music in this area. We’re looking for 1-2 new acts or bands for our “Quid Novi Jams” event on the island in Water Valley, Windsor. The Sept. 22 event is a ‘preview’ of the big festival in November. The “What’s New” theme will feature 2 new authors, 2 new inventors, and 2 new bands. We’re working with developers Jay Stoner and Martin Lind (Colo. Eagles owner) on bringing innovation to Water Valley while previewing our Nov. festival. Any ideas?
