Tickle Me Pink, Saturday, August 28, Aggie, $15
Although pop/rock/alternative band Tickle Me Pink calls Fort Collins home, they’re anything but aggie. Their sound has gotten significantly harder since their first full length album in 2005, which is in no doubt partially related to the tragic death of bassist Johnny Schou and a parting with former label, Wind-Up records. On Your Way Down, an EP released in May, strays from TMP’s pop punk of old and highlights their new bassist’s metal roots, complete with leather and tattoos. And if their talent stretches half as far as their ears, then get ready to tickle your face off. Or something like that.
