The Machinegun Scorpions features members of Turn 4, a gritty country rock band out of Greeley. Turn 4 is known for sounding a bit like a mix between the Butthole Surfers and Captain Beefheart, so for those of you out there who enjoy grungy rock with a heavy country influence, The Machinegun Scorpions are sure to deliver.
The Machinegun Scorpions’ sound differs from Turn 4 in its approach to rock ‘n’ roll, however: This trio often takes classic rock songs and “trims the fat,” so to speak, performing the songs in a “deconstructed” form with a twist that only they can provide.
